TODAY IN HISTORY
- On this day in 1919, prohibition began in the United States. The 18th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution prohibited the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors. It was not until December 5, 1933 when the 21st Amendment was ratified that Federal laws enforcing prohibition were repealed.
Commendable Work.
Keep it up.
